Our organic lamb comes from species-appropriate husbandry and is produced sustainably. The lamb shank is a special piece of meat because it comes from the lower part of the lamb's leg. It is characterized by its juicy and intense flavor, which is due to the bones and connective tissue.
The lamb shank is particularly suitable for braised dishes and is often cooked in a roasting pan in the oven with vegetables and spices. It is also very popular as a goulash or ragout. The long braising makes the meat particularly tender and it practically falls away from the bone.
